About Me
Hi! I am Dr. Sindhura Saini, MD, a board-certified psychiatrist practicing in the states of Missouri and Illinois, and physically based in the city of St. Louis. I spend your session focused on you, but wanted to allow for some space to get an idea of who I am as a person, both inside and outside of this role.
I just recently started my own practice after working with St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute since 2015, most recently as their medical director. I left to offer a more comfortable environment to provide care, one where I was involved in almost all layers of the patients experience with my practice. It's been about six months and I really have enjoyed this new venture.
I have a real passion for psychiatry and honestly, I enjoy what I do. I feel very lucky to be able to sit with people and help them work through any issues. The outpatient setting has really allowed me to follow some patients for years, and really see growth over that time span. I am continually amazed at how people can change and grow over time. There is nothing else I would rather do than what I do now.
Outside of this role, I am married with two children who keep us both very busy. We love exploring the area and trying new adventures. I am an embarrasingly big fan of all Bravo TV, play tennis and general love to keep busy. As being St. Louis transplants, we have grown to love our new home and look forward to watching our kids and my practice grow here.
