About Me
I’m Karen, and I’m a licensed clinical social worker who helps people learn to live more meaningful lives. I work with adults and young adults who want to find joy, purpose, and ease in their lives, but struggle to make this a reality. Instead, they find themselves feeling trapped by painful thoughts, emotions, habits, past experiences, or current circumstances—including political and cultural factors that impact mental health.
I combine genuine warmth, empathy, and humor with practical guidance to help clients work through their unique challenges. I have a collaborative, engaged approach and am committed to supporting my clients in meeting their goals. My practice is informed by trauma-informed and cognitive-behavioral principles, and draws from my training in CBT, DBT, RO-DBT, and other behavioral therapies.
